Awaiting Ministerial sign off - 7 July 2009 Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) - Transmission, Distribution and Rail Training Package UET09 Awaiting Ministerial sign off - 7 July 2009 Music Training Package CUS09 The final draft of the Music Training Package CUS09 has now progressed through the formal Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) quality assurance processes and is currently with STAs prior to being submitted to the National Quality Council (NQC) for endorsement, which is now expected by the end of July 2009. Feedback on this Training Package must be received by the end of July 2009. Financial Services Training Package FNS04 Stage I of the Training Package review has been completed. 	Continuous Improvement Textiles, Clothing and Footwear Training Package LMT07 New qualification Certificate II in Engineering - TCF Mechanic and imported units of competency included from the Metal and Engineering Training Package MEM05. Endorsed by the National Quality Council (NQC). Awaiting Ministerial sign off - 7 July 2009. Construction, Plumbing and Services Integrated Framework Training Package CPC08 New qualifications in Hydraulic Services Design under consideration by States and Territories. CPC50208 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) and plumbing qualifications are under continuous improvement. Manufacturing Training Package MSA07 Inclusion of two new qualifications – MSA71109 Vocational Graduate Certificate in Competitive Manufacturing and MSA81109 Vocational Graduate Diploma of Competitive Manufacturing, and 21 new units of competency for metallurgy. Awaiting Ministerial sign off - 7 July 2009 Business Services Training Package BSB07 Scoping of Marketing, Advertising and Sales qualifications recently completed Consultations for Manager 2020 Principles, Innovation Systems and Front Line Management qualifications completed Changes to Intellectual Property skills set Commencement of review of Cert IV + Diploma of Business (Governance) to enhance Indigenous governance qualifications (July 2009 – May 2010) Printing and Graphic Arts Training Package ICP05 Stage I of the Training Package review has been completed. Consideration of development of Vocational Graduate Certificate and Vocational Graduate Diploma in Language, Literacy and Numeracy. Correctional Services Training Package CSC07 Review of existing qualifications commenced; expected to be completed by end 2009. Water Industry Training Package NWP07 During 2008 a number of reviews have been conducted on specialist elective units of competency, mainly in the Certificate III and Certificate IV which has resulted in large general units being replaced by smaller and more specialist units in the work functions of: Dam safety (Certificate III in Water Operations) Hydrography (Certificate IV in Water Operations) Water treatment (Certificate IV in Water Operations) Wastewater treatment (Certificate IV in Water Operations) Collection and distribution (Diploma of Water Operations) Please visit the Government Skills Australia (GSA) website for details of the review. Public Safety Training Package PUA00 Government Skills Australia (GSA) is currently undertaking a review of Search and Rescue (SAR) and Operations (OPE) units. Public Sector Training Package PSP04 Continuous Improvement in 2009 will include: Development of skills sets Review of imported units for currency Draft Cert IV and Diploma in Workplace Relations available for comment Development of competencies for Radiation Protection and Safety Community Services Training Package CHC08 Project underway to develop Respite Coordination and Development & Humanitarian Assistance competencies. Health Training Package HLT07 Projects underway to develop Radiography Assistance, Community Rehabilitation Assisting and Renal Care competencies.
