NCVER

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) is Australia's national vocational education and training research and development centre. NCVER is responsible for the collection of national vocational education and training statistics and for managing employer, student and graduate surveys relating to vocational education and training outcomes and performance. NCVER provides specialist research, development and evaluation services to government and industry clients as part of their core role and on a commercial consulting basis. The Centre manages the national VET research and evaluation program. NCVER publishes widely in print and on the web on all aspects of the VET sector: research findings, conference and discussion papers, a quarterly newsletter and regular statistical data on trainees, apprenticeships and TAFE graduates.

TVET Australia

TVET Australia Ltd is a company owned by the members of the Ministerial Council for Vocational and Technical Education (MCVTE).

TVET provides secretariat and other services to the National Quality Council and the National Industry Skills Committee, manages the National Audit and Registration Agency and TVET Product Services.

The board is responsible for developing and delivering on strategic and business plans. Strategic plans are for three years and are reviewed and updated at least annually.

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) provides state-of-the-art educational research, products and services. The web site contains information about ACER, its press and products, testing services, library services, research programs, research capabilities and a section for information about visiting researchers.

The Australian Association for Research in Education [AARE] is an association of academics engaged in and reporting education research into schools, higher education, learning, teaching, teachers and students. This web site contains writings, conference papers, academic journal, news, information, results, findings, effects, scholarship, literature, data and analyses of education.

AEShareNet

AEShareNet has been established to enable the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector to 'discover' resources, take out a copyright licence online and connect to the owner to arrange purchase. The site provides a series of standard copyright licence templates that can be completed online, giving instant approval for use of the product. The underlying principle is to encourage training organisations to re-use and re-purpose materials and save on development costs.

CEET

The Centre for the Economics of Education and Training was established in 1992 by Monash University with the co-operation of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and reconstituted in 1994 as the Monash University-ACER Centre for the Economics of Education and Training. The Centre undertakes research, research training, consultancies and dissemination of research. This site contains information about the centre and its staff as well as its current and planned research projects, dissemination and training, publications, seminars and workshops.
